As advocates for the female surf community, we're committed to giving back through our brand. We are stoked to announce that Friday is participating in our first every fundraising event, and it's a bloody good one too!
On August 16th, our team, Friday & Friends, will be hitting the waves at the Women’s SurfAid Cup in Byron Bay. This year marks the first-ever Women's SurfAid Cup in Byron Bay, part of the Byron Bay Surf Festival. The event features a fun and inclusive tag-team style women’s longboard surf competition, that encourages all level gurfers to get involved for a good cause.
We’ve taken on this challenge because it resonates deeply with our dedication to making a positive impact in the world, particularly in areas connected to our love for the ocean. Friday & Friends' participation underscores our commitment to supporting SurfAid in their mission to enhance the health, wellbeing, and resilience of isolated surf communities.
By participating in the SurfAid Cup, we aim to raise $2,500 for SurfAid’s vital programs that provide lifesaving support to isolated surfing communities. Every contribution helps ensure access to clean water & sanitation, basic healthcare, and improved nutrition in SurfAid’s partner regions.
Through a small collection of thrifted Forgiving Friday pieces, exclusive giveaways and tax-deductible donations we believe that we can achieve this target and make a difference together.
